Solomon’s Seal (Varigated)
Variegated Solomon’s Seal is an elegant woodland perennial prized for its arching stems and attractive cream-and-green variegated foliage. In spring, small bell-shaped flowers hang beneath the stems, adding a subtle but charming floral display beneath trees and shrubs. The plant gradually forms colonies, making it especially effective when used as a naturalized groundcover in a woodland setting. Its foliage remains attractive well after flowering and provides a beautiful contrast with darker green and other shade plants. It prefers rich, organic soil with consistent moisture and is particularly well suited to filtered light rather than intense direct sun.
Height: Approximately 18–24 in
Width: Approximately 2–3 ft
Flower time: April–May
Sun/Shade: Part shade to full shade
Deer resistant
Rabbit resistant
