The Flame Thrower Redbud is a tree you'll want to grow even if only for the incredible beauty of its heart-shaped foliage. New leaf growth emerges in a strong burgundy red, then shifts to yellow and finally green as it matures. Because each leaf transitions at its own pace, the branches show a striking mix of four to five colors at once, creating a vibrant, ever-changing display from spring through fall.
