A striking red-leaved Japanese maple with finely divided foliage. The foliage provides strong burgundy-to-purple color and makes this a particularly effective specimen or focal-point tree.
Size: generally a medium-sized Japanese maple, commonly around 15–20 ft. tall and wide, though they grow very slowly and do not reach max height in our climate. Can be easily kept smaller by pruning.
Bloom: spring, with small, inconspicuous maple flowers.
